Maternal PFAS exposure may affect offspring neurodevelopment, but consensus is unclear. Using the TRAEC strategy, we analyzed 39 studies and found a mid-level risk score of 4.68. In vivo studies showed a higher risk score of 5.13. Four risk assessment tools validated our findings. In summary, maternal PFAS exposure poses a moderate risk for offspring neurodevelopmental disorders.
